Academic Achievement

Working above the level

  • Working above the curriculum level expected of that subject. The student is consistently presenting work that ensures success at a high level in that subject. (In senior school the student would be working consistency at Merit and Excellence levels, in junior school the student would be working above the years’ expected curriculum level).

 

Working within the level

  • Working within the curriculum level expected of that subject. The student is presenting work that displays a level of understanding that ensures success in that subject. (In the senior school the student would be working at Achieved level, in junior school the student would be working within that years’ expected curriculum level).

 

Working below the level

  • Working below the curriculum level expected of the subject.

  • Working well below the curriculum level expected of that subject.

 

Learning Attitude

Excellent

  • Consistently on task and making the most of the learning opportunities presented. On task, positive attitude towards learning.

Sound

  • Usually on task and engages in learning, requiring some prompting.

Needs Improvement

  • At times is on task and engages in learning but requires regular monitoring by teacher to ensure focused on learning.

Serious Concerns

  • Despite regular monitoring student is not focused on learning.

  • Classwork and homework completed to the best of the student’s ability in a timely manner.
