RLHS HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTRE
RLHS has its own purpose built Health & Wellness Centre which is a ‘one-stop shop’ to meet the physical and psychological health needs of students. Very few schools in New Zealand are equipped with such a comprehensive adolescent health centre. The Health Centre is run effectively and efficiently by qualified, experienced and professional staff. For us, confidentiality is of the upmost importance.

RLHS Health & Wellness centre works closely with other departments within the school such as councillors, behavioural support and special education needs to support students. Our guidance counsellor is Ms K Osborne and Ms A Gray both are available from 9 am until 3.15 pm. A Doctor is available once a week on Thursday mornings at the Hauora Centre; an appointment needs to be made through the school nurse. This clinic is free and, as always, any student attending this clinic will be treated with the upmost confidentiality.
