RLHS HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTRE
RLHS has its own purpose built Health & Wellness Centre which is a ‘one-stop shop’ to meet the physical and psychological health needs of students. Very few schools in New Zealand are equipped with such a comprehensive adolescent health centre. The Health Centre is run effectively and efficiently by qualified, experienced and professional staff. For us, confidentiality is of the upmost importance.

RLHS Health & Wellness centre works closely with other departments within the school such as councillors, behavioural support and special education needs to support students. Our guidance counsellor is Ms K Osborne who is available from 9 am until 3.15pm. Ms Osborne can be contacted on 07-3456124 ext 266 or email: osbornek@rotorualakes.school.nz
A Doctor is available twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the Health & Wellness centre, an appointment needs to be made through the school nurse. This clinic is free and, as always, any student attending this clinic will be treated with the upmost confidentiality.
